The Duke on The Test, near Romsey, raised hundreds of pounds at its Macmillan coffee morning last Friday.

The pub raised more than £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support on September 29.

Mark Pinn, general manager, said: "We were thrilled with the number of locals who came out to support us for this wonderful cause. Cancer affects so many lives, and Macmillan Cancer Support provides invaluable assistance to those in need. We want to do our part in supporting this incredible organisation and the vital work they do.

“Macmillan coffee mornings have become synonymous with camaraderie and charitable giving. All our staff at The Duke on The Test believe in the power of community.”

The event featured a spread of freshly brewed coffee, cakes, and an array of other treats. The Duke on The Test is donating all the proceeds from every customer attending the event to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan coffee mornings have a long-standing tradition of bringing people together over a cup of coffee to raise funds for a crucial cause.
