A VILLAGER has been hit with an interim ban for drug driving.
Colin Britten, 50, of Evans Close, Over Wallop, was in a 53-reg Ford when caught by the police on the A343 near Middle Wallop on July 22, a court heard.
When tested Britten returned a reading for BZE, a metabolite of cocaine, of more than 800 mg when the legal limit is 50, making him 16 times the limit.
He pleaded guilty when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday September 26.
District Judge Stephen Apted imposed an interim disqualification and adjourned the sentencing to November 16.
