Despite not being open for that long, The Manor is one of the past’s legendary nightclubs.
It was before mobile phones were capturing video, so few moving images exist of the much-loved club.
The venue was located near Matchams near the Hampshire and Dorset border, and once served as a mansion house for Lord Nelson who used it as a retreat.
When a nightclub was opened at the site in September 1994, revellers from all over the country came to listen to a variety of dance music across three rooms
DJ sets were often performed by big names like Carl Cox, Slipmat, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Grooverider, John Digweed, Tony De Vit, Danny Rampling, and more.
Construction work began to replace the manor house with luxury houses in 1999, which spelt the end of the partying days at the beloved venue.
