A CITY centre restaurant has confirmed that it will reopen in October following a mysterious closure.
As previously reported, Yiayias Kitchen Winchester, on St George’s Street, has been closed for several weeks since July, with no one seen inside the building.
However, owner Paul Pyrgoudes has that plans are on track for the Greek restaurant to reopen in October.
Mr Pyrgoudes previously told the Chronicle: “We’re currently going through a restructure and doing some work.

“We’re not gone, we’re planning to be back within the next few weeks. We’re not gone from Winchester, we’ve just had some internal restructuring.”
The Greek kitchen opened in Winchester before Christmas following weeks of delays, taking over from Tom’s Deli which occupied the premises for more than 30 years.
Its sister location, Yiayias at The Fox in Farnham, has remained open for customers.
