I work at Romsey Hospital we are having a car park extension to the rear of the hospital.
While clearing bushes and trees a small house has appeared like magic, as you might imagine it was very run down but the shell was standing with its chimney on top.
I am intrigued to know if any older Romsey residents know anything about this house, was it lived in and who lived in it, what was their job role at the hospital? (Some say it was a morgue!)
I was hoping this might be a story that would intrigue yourselves and the people of Romsey.
Sara Grant,
Rehabilitation assistant at Romsey Hospital
