Romsey Rotary recently donated £300 to a youth football team.
On Saturday September 9, the President of Romsey Rotary Ed Holmes visited the training session of Michelmersh and Timsbury’s youth football teams at Timsbury Recreation Ground to present them with the cheque.
The youth football section of the established sports club was relaunched in 2022 by a group of parents with an under 12s team.

Those under 12s are now an under 13s team and they have added a development team, an under 7s team and two under 8s teams too.
The club is committed to the ethos that football should be accessible to all regardless of ability, gender, race or income which has become especially important with the impact of the current cost of living.
This is why the contribution from Romsey Rotary is so important and very gratefully received to ensure the club can offer support where needed.
