WINCHESTER’S Christmas Market returns later this year, and the details of its schedule and vendors have now been released to the public.
Running from Friday November 17 until Thursday December 21, the Christmas Market remains free to enter and no booking is required.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are on a lead.
The opening hours from Sunday to Thursday are 10am until 6pm, though on Fridays and Saturdays the closing time is extended by two hours to 8pm.

There are many stalls spanning an assortment of goods, including clothing, accessories, food and drink, natural products and garden ornaments. The products come from a number of places, both local and international.
This year, there are more than 20 vendors making their Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market premiere, selling a wide range of goods suited to the festive season.

A variety of food and drinks stalls will be at the market this year, selling everything from Bratwursts to butters and cheeses to chestnuts. There will also be plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
Last year, the Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market saw record numbers, with more than 400,000 attending. The New York Post gave a place to Winchester as one of the nine ‘most magical Christmas cities in Europe’ in 2018.
