WINCHESTER Police arrested three people for unrelated shoplifting offences in one day.
Skye Leigh Murly, 22, of Chatham Road, Stanmore, was arrested on Wednesday, August 30 in Chilbolton Avenue and charged with six counts of shoplifting.
Food and alcohol items were stolen from the One Stop in Battery Hill, between July 21 and August 24.
Murly was remanded in custody to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 31.

A 47-year-old male was arrested by Winchester Priority Crime Team (PCT) under a warrant for failing to attend court for a shoplifting offence. The man was stopped by a PCSO at Winchester Train Station.
Minutes later, a 35-year-old male was arrested by Winchester Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) in City Road for shoplifting offences and a public order offence.
When stopped and searched by officers, a knife was found on him so he was further arrested for being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Winchester Police posted on Facebook: “All of the teams in Winchester are committed to the chief constable's pledge to relentlessly pursue criminals and will always look to take action against the most prolific offenders in the city.”
