ROMSEY Rapids has reopened its swimming pools following “technical issues”.
The sports complex, on Southampton Road, closed the pool to visitors on Monday, August 28, later reopening them today (Tuesday, August 29).
The sports centre posted on Facebook: “Good news! Our pool is now re-open.
“Due to technical issues, unfortunately, we had to close our pool yesterday.
“Our Family Fun sessions are running as usual today.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”
A spokesperson for Places Leisure said: “Yesterday we had to close our pool due to unforeseen technical issues. The issue was resolved early this morning and we re-opened our pool at 10am.
“The safety of those using our facilities is always our top priority. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming the community through our doors with all sessions resuming as normal.”
The Romsey Advertiser has asked for further details on what the issue was.
