HAMPSHIRE County Council has announced that a road in Droxford will be closed for maintenance.
The proactive patching work on Swanmore Road will start on September 5, and will see the road shut from 9.30am to 4pm on weekdays while it is completed.
The maintenance is expected to be completed by September 7.

A council spokesperson said: “Due to the nature of the work and for safety reasons, it is necessary to carry the work out under a road closure with a signed diversion route in place. The road will be reopened outside each working shift.
“The working time is typically 9:30am to 4pm weekdays.
“While the works are carried out, the road will be closed to vehicular traffic. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained wherever possible. Pedestrian access will always be available.”
More information about road work being carried out across the county can be found on the Hampshire County Council website.
