A CITY centre restaurant will re-open in a few weeks after it mysteriously closed its doors.
Yiayias Kitchen Winchester, on St George’s Street, has been closed for several weeks through July and August, with no one seen inside the building.
Its sister location, Yiayias at The Fox in Farnham, has remained open for customers.
However, owner Paul Pyrgoudes has denied that the Greek and Cypriot restaurant has closed its Winchester branch, saying it will reopen soon.

He told the Chronicle: “We’re currently going through a restructure and doing some work.
“We’re not gone, we’re planning to be back within the next few weeks. We’re not gone from Winchester, we’ve just had some internal restructuring.”
The Greek kitchen opened in Winchester before Christmas following weeks of delays, taking over from Tom’s Deli which occupied the premises for more than 30 years.
