A group of Chinese students enjoyed their experience when they visited Winchester University for the first time since Covid.
Nine students and one staff of member of Nanjing University of Science and Technology Zijin College toured the campus on Wednesday, August 9.
The group consisted of third year students looking at studying abroad for their Masters.
They are on a ten-day trip to England, arranged through the company Opportunity China, the excursion involved sightseeing as well as university visits.
The Nanjing party received a presentation about the University of Winchester by Maggie Lin, International Recruitment Development Manager.
Postgraduate student Erin Xinyang Li helped with the tour and presentation.
Maggie explained to the visitors she was amazed by the university and its proximity to Winchester which they described as a “small and peaceful city, which is good for studying”.
Nanjing University of Science and Technology Zijin College covers an area of 613 acres and holds roughly 27,000 students.
It’s situated in the Xianlin Science and Education City at the foot of the Zijin (Purple) Mountain, in the east of Nanjing.
