I’m thrilled to be taking part in Bowel Cancer UK’s Walk Together campaign this September to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by the disease.  

It’s a cause very close to my heart as I lost my dad to bowel cancer when he was only 54 and my grandfather was also diagnosed with the disease. I am passionate about raising awareness to ensure other families don’t have to face what mine has.    

Walk Together is a sponsored five-mile walk perfect for all ages and abilities. You can do it in your local area with friends and family on any day in September. It’s a way for us to show support for those undergoing treatment, to remember loved ones we have lost and to raise funds to go towards vital services and lifesaving research.  

Bowel cancer is the UK’s second biggest cancer killer, but it doesn’t have to be this way because it’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.
