A NEW Winchester café has reopened following a three-week refurbishment.
NAAFI Cafe, in St George's Street, opened its doors to customers on Thursday, July 27 after a full refit.
As previously reported, the branch, run by NAAFI, originally opened in mid-April in the unit formally occupied by Rawberry.
The café shut its doors for its refurbishment in July, three months after it originally opened.
NAAFI offers a range of hot and cold drinks and food, including breakfast baps, sandwiches, sweet treats and more.
The café also offers a 10 per cent discount for all serving personnel, defence discount and blue light card holders, as well as students and veterans.
NAAFI Winchester manager Sharon said: “It’s great to be open and serving the community of Winchester. We look forward to welcoming everyone with a taste of NAAFI.”

A NAAFI spokesperson said: “With lots of comfortable seating across two floors there is plenty of space to catch up with family and friends, with artwork and NAAFI history decorating the walls.
“With cafés already open in Catterick, Lancaster and Whiteley, NAAFI also re-opened Scarborough on the same day after its brand-new refit, with many more planned around the UK.
“Providing a taste of home for UK Forces wherever they are based around the world, NAAFI has an agreed mechanism with the Ministry of Defence to return all trading surpluses back into supporting UK Armed Forces, either as direct financial contributions to the locations that generated it or by investment into their facilities around the world.
"With locations around the world in the Falklands, Ascension Island, Brunei, Gibraltar, Germany and on-board Royal Navy ships, NAAFI is re-establishing its name in the UK with a bang.”
More information about NAAFI can be found on its website. A formal VIP invite-only opening is scheduled to take place at the end of August.
