LITTLETON Art Group is still eagerly looking for new members. The friendly club has been meeting for 30 years, drawing and using water colours and pastels at Littleton Church Room.

The group is planning to provide information on energy efficiency, recycling opportunities, waste prevention and more.

ST Mary’s Church, in Avington, will be taken back to 250 years ago. The Madding Crowd singers will lead afternoon in their period costumes, giving visitors the chance to hear the barrel organ, imagine church services in the Georgian period and celebrate in the garden in 18th century style. The event is open from 4-6pm on Sunday, September 24.
CROSS Valley Milk of Kings Worthy is recruiting a doorstep milk delivery driver to work five night shifts (approximately 2am-8am) a week.
Deliveries are to Winchester and surrounding areas. The small family business, serving farm fresh pasteurised milk and other dairy products, prides itself on its products, reliable service and customer care.

A NEW bench has been unveiled opposite Sparsholt Memorial Hall, commemorating seven former agricultural students who died in World War II and never received a memorial from the college.
The event was organised by Sparsholt College governor, Dr John Lander, who spent months finding the descendants of the seven men, with at least 30 relatives attending the unveiling.
WESTLEY Lane, in Sparsholt, will remain closed for patching works until Tuesday, August 8. The road will re-open over the weekend and overnight from 4pm to 8am on weekdays.
Access for residents and businesses has been maintained wherever possible and pedestrians should always be able to get through. The improvement works are part of Hampshire County Council’s maintenance programme Operation Resilience.
SPARSHOLT Church of England Primary School has a vacancy for early years learning support assistant working one to one with pupils.
Starting from September, the successful applicant would be expected to work 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday during term time, with flexibility for the right candidate.
