CIVIC chiefs have permitted plans for changes to a house near Romsey, despite three objections.
Lauren Wiltshire can now have a single storey side extension, works to the roof to create living accommodation and a single storey front porch, in Braishfield Road, Crookhill.
The application was swiftly permitted at Test Valley Borough Council's southern area planning committee after 15 minutes discussion on Tuesday July 25.
There was no objection from Braishfield Parish Council, but three from local residents.

Nicholas Allen, of Braishfield Road, said: “If the openings for the three velux on the upstairs north face are at eye level then they will directly look down into a bedroom, kitchen, and clearly into the lounge area of our home.
“The unrestricted west-facing large bedroom window will provide clear views into both neighbours' rear gardens, and equally from our gardens into their bedroom.
“A solution for the three velux would be to use obscure glass, but it's unclear how privacy for all concerned can be upheld with the large west bedroom window as shown.”
Despite this, the committee was satisfied that there were no planning reasons to turn the scheme down.
It was permitted unanimously.
