THOMAS The Tank Engine and friends will be returning to the Watercress Line this summer.
Day Out with Thomas is back at the railway from August 12-20, with family friendly activities for visitors.
Attendees can ride with Thomas as he makes his way through the Hampshire countryside, beginning his journey at Ropley Station.

This year there will be three new Rusty and Dusty outdoor entertainment shows, featuring Sir Topham Hatt, Percy, Diesel and Toad, with the exciting opportunity for a ‘meet and greet’ with Sir Topham and Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty and Dusty.
There will be plenty of Thomas & Friends themed activities to enjoy in the Play Pod zone at Ropley, including story time sessions, colouring and giveaways for every child. Attendees can also visit the new Bubble Zone for some creative play.
Other attractions include the Watercress Line’s miniature railway, children’s vintage fairground attractions and steam train rides to and from Ropley and Alton. Meanwhile, a choice of hot and cold food and refreshments will be available at Ropley’s T-Junction to buy and eat.

The Watercress Line’s interim chief executive Rebecca Dalley said: “We can’t wait to welcome Thomas and his friends back to the Watercress Line for some summertime fun and games. We have a great programme of Thomas & Friends entertainment, and we hope you’ll join us for a full day of family fun.
