A ROMSEY charity providing free new and pre-loved items to families in need hosted its first charity summer dinner dance.
Baby Necessities celebrated its founders, employees, trustees, volunteers and all its accomplishments with an evening at Kimbridge Barn.
The event entailed a singer, three-course meal, magician, raffle, live auction, DJ and lots of dancing, raising £3,800 to help alleviate child poverty.

Local businesses donated auction prizes with the top prize coming from Limewood Hotel which gifted a backstage dining experience for up to 10 people with Michelin star chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder.
With ever-increasing referral rates, the charity hopes to help more parents with basic necessities like clothes, toys and equipment to look after their children.

The Romsey baby bank operates from the Premier Centre, in Premier Way, where it stocks and prepares donations to be re-gifted and holds baby self-weighing clinics.
The charity works through third-party referrals from professionals like community midwives, health visitors, GPs, family support workers, social workers and teachers.
During the school holidays, the baby bank will only be open two days a week for donations, referral collections and volunteering and the weigh in clinic will be taking a break until September.
