TRAINS across Hampshire have been cancelled or delayed due to an incident at Woking.
According to South Western Railway, emergency services are at the scene dealing with the incident, which occurred at approximately 8.53am this morning. Disruption is expected until 5pm this evening.
Stations affected have included Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover.

The rail operator has said that tickets for journeys that have been affected will be accepted by the following rail and bus services for no extra charge:
- GWR services between Basingstoke - London Paddington via Reading.
- Elizabeth Line services between Reading - London Paddington.
- Southern services between Southampton Central / Portsmouth Harbour - London Victoria.
- Cross Country services between Bournemouth - Reading
- London Underground services on any reasonable route.
- Stagecoach 10 Farnborough – Fleet
- Stagecoach 34 between Guildford -Camberley
- Stagecoach 35 between Guildford -Camberley
- Falcon bus 456 between Chertsey - Woking
- Falcon bus 515 between Kingston - Byfleet & New Haw
- Falcon bus 436 between Weybridge - Woking
- Falcon bus 28 between Woking – Guildford

A South Western Railway spokesperson said: “As a result of the emergency services attending an incident between Surbiton and Basingstoke, services in the area may be cancelled, delayed or revised - with disruption currently expected to last until at least 5pm today. Customers should check the SWR website for latest travel information.
“We would like to apologise to any affected customers for the inconvenience caused to their journeys.”
British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Woking railway station at 8.53am today (July 18) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, and a person is being taken to hospital for assessment. The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.”
