A CAR has been removed from the centre of the carriageway of a North Baddesley road after it was abandoned by its owner.
Romsey police discovered the broken-down car on Nutburn Road on the evening of July 15.
It had been left in the centre of the carriageway near a blind bend with no hazard lights displayed.

The owner of the car was located and the vehicle was removed.
In a post on the Test Valley Cops Facebook page, officers wrote: "We came across this abandoned broken down vehicle in the centre of the carriageway on Nutburn Road, North Baddesley. We managed to get hold of the vehicle owner who had broken down, headed home and planned to return to collect the vehicle tomorrow. The vehicle had been left on a dark road near a blind bend and in the centre of the carriageway with no hazard lights displayed - we arranged for recovery to remove the vehicle and make the road safe once again.
"We understand breakdowns happen, but a polite reminder that if your vehicle is left in a position which presents a danger to other road users we will not hesitate to recover the vehicle and the owner will be liable for all costs incurred."
