A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged with a series of shoplifting offences in Eastleigh and Southampton.

Kenneth Brian Lewis, aged 50, of Hill Lane, Southampton, has been charged with multiple thefts including the following:

  • Theft of £20.55 worth of goods from Iceland on Shirley High Street, on June 15;
  • Theft of £46.30 worth of goods from Co-op on Leigh Road, Eastleigh, on July 1;
  • Theft of £66.15 worth of goods from Tesco in The Swan Centre, Eastleigh, on July 14.

Lewis has been released on bail with conditions, including not to enter Eastleigh, until August 2 when he will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
