A MEMBER of Romsey Beavers is celebrating after she achieved all of the 23 activity badges.
Sophie Lester, aged seven, decided to challenge herself and achieve all the badges after she received her Chief Scout Bronze Award in May.
She completed the activities required to receive her badges during weekly Beaver sessions, as well as in the evenings after school and at weekends.
Sophie said: “It was a lot of work, and I am really pleased with myself that I managed to do it.”

As part of her challenge, she visited a Scout camp to learn craft skills, learnt how to safely push her sister in a wheelchair, gave a piano demonstration and looked after a neighbour's rabbit.
Sophie’s mum, Becky, said: “Our whole family are so proud of Sophie.
“She is a delightful, kind girl who has put in so much effort to get all her activity badges.”
Leader of 3rd Romsey Beavers, Mat Lee, said: “It’s a great achievement and unprecedented for our group.”
Sophie joined the Beavers in September 2021 at the age of six alongside her friends. She is set to join the Cub Scouts in the autumn.
