Further to my letter dated February 27 about e-scooters and anti-social behaviour, it is obvious the matter hasn't been curtailed in any way by the police 'Naughty Step Principle'.

Examples over the last five months.

Two lads on an e-scooter riding along Greatwell Drive, closely followed by a girl and boy on another, cutting across from one footpath to another with no regard for pedestrians or motorists.

Another girl/ boy ensemble, weaving down Woodley Lane.

A different girl crossing from Woodley estate to Abbotswood by the new roundabout.

A sub-teen couple - brother and sister I would say, judging by their looks, whipping out of Clover Way onto Campion Drive, no concern of cars screeching to a halt.

A couple of lads obligingly getting off their e-sScooters whilst riding under The Sun Arch on the very narrow footpath to allow pedestrians to walk around them on the road!

A lady pushing an e-scooter around Waitrose in Romsey - glad to see she didn't have to ride it around the supermarket - and a very scruffy youth, who I have seen 'riding around' Romsey with the lady, aimlessly going up and down the paving in front of and to the side of Waitrose, weaving around customers.

Various employees on Greatbridge and Budds Lane Industrial Estates, visiting the Esso Station on Greatbridge Road to top up with provisions and cans of drink.

With emergency services in crisis, if there is an accident, how long will it take for any injured parties to be collected and taken to an A & E?

The easiest way to stop the illegal use of those lethal forms of transport is to ban them across the UK immediately.
