The city's first food festival will be held in Winchester Cathedral's Outer Close this weekend.
Winchester Food Festival, on Sunday July 9, is being organised by Hampshire Fare, as part of the month-long Hampshire Food Festival.
It will showcase the wide variety of food and drink producers from the Winchester district and surrounding area.
The produce market runs from 10am – 4pm and will have more than 20 stalls. Expect freshly baked sourdough, chalk stream trout pâté, cheese, charcuterie, microgreens and olives.

Local top chefs will be demonstrating dishes using local ingredients from 12pm. The chef’s kitchen will open with Damian Brown from the Chesil Rectory. Next up is Lenny Carr-Roberts, of The Bugle, The Fox, and Shoal, takes the stage. Lenny started his career at Le Gavroche, but he has also made television appearances alongside TV chef James Martin. Following Lenny, Paul Onami from Kyoto Kitchen will take the stage.
Munch CIC will also be cooking alongside local homeless charity Winchester Beacon. They will focus on sustainable nutrition, healthy eating on a low budget and how to avoid food waste. They will be cooking with vegetables supplied by Hampshire Veg Box.
