A NORWEGIAN clown who won Britain’s Got Talent’s latest series will be performing in Winchester.
Viggo Venn, who was crowned the winner of the sixteenth series of the ITV talent show, has announced that he will be performing at twenty different venues across the UK, including the Theatre Royal Winchester.
Having previously trained at the clown school École Philippe Gaulier, Viggo kickstarted his career in the comedic double act “Zach and Viggo” with Zach Tucker which won best comedy award at the 2016 Brighton Fringe.
Despite his duo's success, Viggo always dreamt of becoming an established British comedian.

Since winning Britain’s Got Talent at the beginning of the month, the Norwegian’s reputation has sky-rocketed thanks to his quirky ‘high-vis’ act, which saw him taking off countless high-vis jackets as well as his amusing balloon tricks that even brought a smile to the face of Simon Cowell. BGT judge Alesha Dixon said he “captivated the nation”.
The Norwegian comic has asked those who are attending his tour to wear their high-vis vests for when he’s on stage.
Viggo said: “I have been receiving thousands of videos on Instagram from young and old dancing around in hi-vis vests and nothing makes me happier. So excited to bring a show full of fun, quirkiness, and surprises for everyone. Can’t wait to meet people and go on a highly visible UK tour. I will bring Viggo-vests with me if you forget yours."
Winchester is Viggo’s eighteenth stop on his great tour around the United Kingdom as he performs at the Theatre Royal on Saturday, February 10.
