A FORMER student accommodation building in Winchester has been put up for sale for potential redevelopment.
Chilbolton Court, on the corner Romsey Road and Chilbolton Avenue, is currently in a state of disrepair with internal damage due to damp issues.
The two-storey building, accessed from Marnhull Rise, was used as accommodation for the University of Winchester and is about a mile-and-a-half from the city centre.
It's being sold by estate agents Savills as a residential development opportunity, subject to planning.
The site is likely to be keenly eyed by housing developers.

Katharine Hassan, from Savills, said: “The site presents an opportunity for an incoming buyer to obtain planning permission to demolish or convert the existing building and replace with housing, close to the city centre. We are anticipating interest from both investors and developers.”
The estate agents confirmed that the site is 'price on application'.
Subject to planning offers are invited by midday on Thursday August 3.
