ROMSEY Quilters are holding their first Quilt Festival since 2017 between July 1-16.
It will be held in Romsey Abbey during the town’s festival.
There will be a display of over 120 quilts on offer as well as a selection of hand-crafted goods made by its members, this includes handmade textiles and gifts, plus demonstrations by quilters members.

A ‘Fabric Fiesta’ will also take place in Crosfield Hall on Sunday July 9. This is a one-day event where you can buy quilting fabrics, templates, buttons, haberdashery, books, gifts and more. They will also have textile artists using print, embroidery, kits and mohair.
There’s a chance to win the Kaleidoscope raffle quilt made by the quilters, tickets will be available during the festival with the profits from all activities being donated to the Romsey Dementia Action Group, Romsey Young Carers and the Abbey.
ROMDAG is a group which supports patients with dementia and their families.
The event will be run every day during Romsey Festival from 10am onwards.
