ROMSEY Abbey will be hosting a new melodrama to raise money for charity.
The abbey will host Vox Humana and Gregoriana on Tuesday, July 11, with the performance held at 7.30pm.
The performance, directed by Julien Chilcott-Monk, is based on St John Henry Newman’s poem The Faith and Joy of Gerontius and features Neil Nisbet as Gerontius and Sarah Bullen as a Guardian Angel.

Tickets will cost £12, with under 12’s entering free, with proceeds going to support The Murray Parish Trust.
Tickets will be available online, at Romsey Visitor Information and at the door.
