Inquest opens into the death of inmate who died of unknown causes (Image: Contributed)
AN INQUEST has opened into the death of an inmate at Winchester Prison.
Pawel Kowalski, 38, was found unresponsive in his cell on May 30, and was later pronounced dead, the hearing was told.
The cause of his death is yet to be identified despite a post-mortem.
Area coroner Jason Pegg has adjourned the inquest into Mr Kowalski’s death until May 29, 2024.
