SOUTH Wonston Village Cinema is returning on Saturday, June 17.

The cinema will be celebrating Father’s Day by screening Living starring Bill Nighy. Screenings will take place at South Wonston Village Hall on Downs Road at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 each and can be purchased on the day and in advance. There will be a range of tea, coffee and ice cream available to purchase.

THE Barton Stacey Church Fete will be returning on Saturday, July 1.

Taking place at Wades House from 1pm to 4pm, the fete will feature a range of attractions including a barbeque, bar, tea tent, tombola, petting zoo, lumberjack demonstration, dog show and more.

VICTORIA Hall in Sutton Scotney will host the next Watercress Way Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 15.

Starting at 7.30pm, the meeting will cover what The Watercress Way has achieved over the past year, as well as its plans for the coming months. The group has announced that the meeting may be held outside depending on the weather.

THE Gratton, Sutton Scotney, is hosting its annual musical festival “Grattonbury” on July 24 between 6pm and 11pm. The festival will feature an array of attractions, including live music, hot food and a bar.

Tickets will cost £10 and can be purchased on the gate. Under 12s will be able to enter for free.

SOUTH Wonston School PTA will be holding a colour run on Saturday, June 24.

The run will take place at the school from 11am to 3pm, and will also feature a bar, barbeque, bouncy castles, tombola and many more attractions. Entry and scholarship forms are available from the school office and South Wonston shops. Registration will also be open on the day from 11am.

THE next Wonston Community Café is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 21 at Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney. The café will raise money to maintain the Sutton Scotney defibrillator, which is located at the fire station, approximately 100m from the hall.

Parking is free, and the café is cash only.

TICKETS have been released for the Micheldever Variety Group’s new show, Play On, by Rick Abbot. Performance run from June 22 to June 24 at Northbrook Hall in Micheldever. Tickets costs £12 and are available to purchase from ticketsource.co.uk/mvg.

MICHELDEVER Open Gardens will run from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, June 24. Many gardens open to the public in aid of St Mary’s Church.

Tickets cost £5 per person while children can enter for free. Teas, cakes and Pimm’s will be available.

THE Dever Singers Summer Concert takes place on Saturday, June 17 at St Margaret’s Church, South Wonston, at 7pm and on Sunday, June 18 at St Mary the Virgin Church, Micheldever at 6pm. There will be no charge for entry, but a retiring collection for church funds.
