Plans for a Winchester city centre pizza restaurant have been changed.
Polizia Pizza wants to convert The Black Bottle in 4 Bridge Street.
Previously, the plan had been for a white shop frontage with red lettering. The designs now show a dark blue shop front with white lettering.
One supporting and three objecting comments have been submitted to Winchester City Council.
Matthew Davies, of Chesil Street, said: “I fully support this, having had their pizzas and meeting them. They are a professional operation, with great food and I feel this part of Winchester would benefit from more good food and atmosphere.”
An objection from the City of Winchester Trust said: “This is a Grade II Listed Building in the Winchester Conservation Area. It occupies a prominent corner location at the eastern entrance to the city and is close to the historic City Mill.
“Whilst the proposed use is welcome, the front façade signage is unsympathetic to the building. The Trust therefore objects to the proposed front façade.”

Bill Gunyon, of St Johns Street, said: “The front elevation is not in keeping with this row of listed buildings, nor with the interior decoration (assuming that will be unchanged).
“The design presumably aims to attract the attention of pedestrians and drivers approaching from Chesil Street. It should be possible to achieve this objective by more subtle means.”
George Smith, of Worthy Lane, said: “Shop fronts have a huge impact on the area and am sure we all agree it's critical the details are right.
“The proposal seem light on details and the basic images make it very hard to know what they are actually going to do and how it will end up looking.”
No comments have been submitted since the designs were updated.
The Black Bottle, which sells wine from self-serve dispensers, is part of the same chain as The Black Boy pub and The Black Hole B&B.
The Black Rat restaurant closed in September last year.
Currently, Polizia serves pizza at The Black Boy on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
