The former army camp at Bushfield has been unused since the seventies. The actual area; concrete and old mizzen huts could be used for a sensible and sensitive construction, not imposing upon beautiful green areas.
Vehicle access will need to be addressed as Badger Farm Road is very busy.
A rather unique item has been there for some years.
On a wall within one of the mizzen huts is a truly amazing graffiti of a face; eyes appearing to look at an observer.
I have stared in awe many times at the detailed expression on this rather special specimen.
Hopefully the wall upon which it is featured will be preserved, or at least moved to an appropriate location.
