ROADWORKS are still in place following a major pipe burst in Colden Common earlier this week.
Main Road, opposite Winchester Caravans, flooded on Tuesday, May 24.
Although, Southern Water and Hampshire Highways were quick to attend to the burst water main and clear the surface water, the work is still ongoing.

Part of Main Road was closed throughout Tuesday night and Wednesday morning before two-way traffic lights were installed. The lights are expected to stay in place until Thursday, June 1, leading to slight delays.
Temporary fencing has been set up on the carriageway to allow safe working and narrowing the highway.
A spokesperson for Southern Water said: "The repair was completed within hours of the burst on Tuesday afternoon. It was actually fixed at 4.30am on Wednesday. During this period, around 10 customers were temporarily out of supply, and bottled water was provided to these customers.
"The resurfacing of the road required a partial road closure and two-way traffic lights. We apologise for the inconvenience caused."
Main Road was last hit with a series of bursts in July, causing the road to collapse and residents’ homes to flood.
