Writing Our Legacy has joined forces with Winchester Poetry Festival to bring their popular Poetry Room to The Arc.

The event will be held on Saturday June 3.

Poetry Room boasts a line-up of the UK’s finest creatives, thinkers and musicians all under one roof.

The hosts for the evening are the poet, writer, performer Akila Richards and DJ Fever2Ray (African Night Fever).

Special guests are scientist, writer and activist Jasmine Qureshi; British Iranian artist and writer Alinah Azadeh; Indian writer and poet Susmita Bhattacharya and up-and-coming poet Kaycee Hill.

The panel will consider the big issues for the African, Caribbean, Asian and global majority, and provide a space where everyone is welcome.
