THE RHS Chelsea Flower Show has revealed its shortlist for Plant of the Year, a quarter of which being entered by a Hampshire-based company.
Hillier Garden Centres of Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Ampfield are behind four of the 19 plants being recognised in the RHS competition.
Three of the Hillier plants put forward this year are the new introductions launched at BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair in April, which were well received by show visitors and Hillier customers in the following weeks.
