A Hampshire theme park has been ranked as the third-best for value in all of Europe as well as the best in the UK.

Paultons Park in the New Forest achieved that distinction, beating out Adventure Island and Blackpool Pleasure beach in the UK.

Only Djurs Sommerland in Denmark and Energylandia in Poland came ahead of it in Europe, in first and second respectively.

Research from Touch Casino analysed factors such as the online adult ticket prices, parking fees, the theme park's Tripadvisor rating and total number of attractions in coming to this conclusion.

Putting all these factors together aggregated to a score out of 10 saw Paultons Park receive a 7.43 score.

The cost of an adult online ticket being £41.75 was higher than most around it, but its free parking and high number of attractions boosted its score.

Paultons Park is known as the home of Peppa Pig World and has more than 70 rides for visitors to try out.

Aside from Peppa Pig World there are also several other themed sections to the park, including the Wild Lands section where you can see plenty of animals, and The Lost Kingdom section which has many dinosaur-themed attractions.
