A LONG awaited reunion at Sparsholt College saw 65 former colleagues come together, with many seeing each other for the first time in 30 years.
The group, made up of ex-staff members from as far back as the 1970s, met in the business centre, with a feeling of coming home or as one guest described it “coming back to the mother ship”.

Many of the former Sparsholt employees have now retired and travelled from as far as Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and even Finland for the reunion. The successful turnout meant there were representatives from all of the college’s departments.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “It was a wonderful mix of colleagues and the bonds built up over so many years came to the fore in friends who hadn't seen each other for a good while. The buzz was maintained throughout the whole evening.
“The college is still special to us in its unique size and location, having that ability form a team spirit across all departments and that was certainly borne out on Friday. Those present are amongst those who continue to build the college’s reputation and status. What a great evening. Of course we’ll do it again.”
