Reference to Michael Burford's letter a couple of weeks ago in the Hampshire Chronicle regarding Mr Arthur Newton.
I was sorry to hear that he had been killed in 1981, I do not know the circumstances. The picture shows Mr Newton playing the organ at Littleton church, but I am sure he played the church organ also at St. Bartholomew Hyde Church, Winchester in the 1960's when I sang in the choir.
Your photo brought back many happy memories, unfortunately I do not have any photos myself.
