WINCHESTER'S only nightclub has confirmed that it will be closing for its annual summer refurbishment.
Vodka Bar and Nightclub, in Upper Brook Street, said on its Instagram page that it would be closing for good.
However, when speaking to co-owner Lee Davies this afternoon, the Chronicle confirmed that it was in fact for a refurbishment.

Vodka is hosting a 'closing down party' tonight (May 12) and said on Instagram: “Not long left until our massive Vodka Closing Down Party. This is your last chance to experience vodka before it closes for good. Don’t miss out!”
Mr Davies said: “We're closing for a refurb which is something we do every year. It's just time to freshen the place up. We will be reopening in September. I've been doing this for 18 years, it's something we do every year.”
On the nightclub's Instagram page, they were advertising £30 for entry and unlimited drinks.
