The officers finished their patrols by 7am on Tuesday, May 9.
In a post on the Test Valley Cops Facebook page, the team said: “We patrolled hotspots known for burglaries and vehicle thefts and we are happy to report everything was in order! We stopped a total of 14 vehicles throughout the evening to make sure none of them were potentially coming into our town at 3am to burgle! By 7am this morning we were all in desperate need for a caffeine fix!
“We hope this gives you all some reassurance that we are doing everything we can to keep you and your property safe from those would do harm!”
