AN ESTATE near Winchester will be one of 74 open-air locations in an outdoor cinema company's summer tour.
Adventure Cinema has announced Avington Park as one of its new venues for its upcoming season of outdoor screenings.
Tickets are already running low for Top Gun: Maverick on Tuesday, August 15 with Mamma Mia! following on August 16 and Dirty Dancing on August 17.
Films will be shown next to the 16th-century country house, within 150 acres of private parkland that neighbour the River Itchen.

Co-director of Adventure Cinema, Ben Lovell, said: "We are so excited that summer 2023 has finally arrived. We will once again be travelling all over the country to put on the UK’s biggest-ever outdoor cinema tour this summer, partnering with 74 unique and beautiful locations - and more than ever before. The list of films on offer is our best yet, with something for everyone and we can’t wait to welcome those who love the cinema and the great outdoors.”
Gates open at 7.15pm ahead of the 8.45pm screenings. There will be a free event car park in addition to hot food, snacks and a bar. Viewers are also allowed to bring their own picnics and drinks but no glassware will be permitted.
The Winchester Open-Air Cinema is one of 74 venues taking part in 270 screening this summer, with other dates and films available at these locations.
Tickets start from £9.50 and are available from adventurecinema.co.uk.
