AN ELDERLY man who was reported missing has been located following a large police operation in a Hampshire village.
The man, who has not been named by police and was described as vulnerable, was located safe and well on Sunday, May 7 by Hampshire Search and Rescue following a search in Bishop’s Sutton, near Alresford.
He had been missing for several hours.

In a post on Facebook, Winchester Police said: “You may have seen a large Police presence in Bishop’s Sutton last night and in the early hours of this morning. The Police were called to an elderly vulnerable man who was missing for several hours.
“We are pleased to report that the man was found safe and well by our colleagues from HANTSAR.
“Thank you to all those who assisted with the search and to the residents for enabling Police to search your grounds.”
