A MUSIC festival is set to return to near Winchester and this year it will be 'out of this world'.
Vicarage Farm at Woodmancott will host The Mucky Weekender Festival on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9.
Barry Ashworth who is the lead DJ in the Dub Pistols, organises the Mucky Weekender Festival every year and this will be the fourth Mucky Festival the Dub Pistols have done.
The lineup for this 2023 festival has the likes of Woody Cook, Stereo MCs and special guest Goldie.
Barry said: “The Mucky Weekender Festival is a place where you can go on your own and leave with a thousand mates, it’s a real community vibe."

The Mucky Weekender festival is an annual event and this year has a new Outer Space theme to go with some of the stages in the festival for the first time in Mucky Weekender history.
Barry said: “Last year the theme was ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ so it was very western themed so this year we are going for an ‘Out of Space’ theme with spaceship and space-themed stages, giant crystals are being installed and tons of lasers for a real trip around space.”
Barry was the founder of the Dub Pistols in 1996 and then two years later they released their first studio album, now 25 years on they are still going strong with their ninth studio album and fourth Mucky Weekender festival.
Barry started out as a club promoter and DJ when he went over to Ibiza where he organised two infamous club nights Monkey Drum and Naked Lunch.
He then went on as a DJ collaborating with people like Limp Bizkit, Moby and Filter until he started the Dub Pistols.
Point Blank was the Dub Pistols first ever album as a group in 1998 and from then the group has made nine studio albums and collaborated on many movie soundtracks such as Blade 2, Bad Company and the Mystery Men.
Barry has also done tremendous work for mental health in music with a programme called Tonic Rider that promotes good mental health in the music industry and in 2021 did his third annual wing walk to raise money for this cause.
