A ROMSEY man has been fined after driving at 96mph on the A303, near Wincanton.
Timothy Vane, 51, of Mountbatten Avenue, was caught by manned equipment speeding on September 2 last year.

He pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure for driving 26mph over the 70mph speed limit by Bath Magistrates' Court on March 31.
Vane was fined £131, a surcharge of £52 and costs of £90, with five penalty points added to his licence.
The fine must be paid by May 26.
