TIME appears to be running out for a parked car in a Winchester park and ride car park.
The blue Fiat Panda has been left in the car park in Barfield Close for around a month with a note in the windscreen saying: 'Broken down. Will be back to recover'.
But it appears the city council's patience about the owner's return is wearing thin.
As well as an almost daily stream of parking tickets a blue 'warning notice' has been left, indicating the council is considering having the vehicle towed away.

The driver has returned to the vehicle at some point as a large number of tickets are now inside the car.
A request from the Chronicle for more information from the driver has not been answered.
Each ticket incurs a £25 fine if paid within two weeks, or £50 otherwise, meaning the car owner is liable for penalties of around £500, and potentially up to around £1,000.
A city council spokesman said: "The warning notice is an Abandoned Vehicle notice, which means it’ll now go through the abandoned vehicle process which is outlined on our website.
"If the owner does not remove the vehicle, our contractor will tow the vehicle and keep it in storage for a short period of time. Once the vehicle has been removed the Council will write to the registered keeper again to give them a last chance to claim the vehicle and to pay any charges incurred."
