RESIDENTS at a Winchester care home were joined by schoolchildren for an Easter crafting session.

Abbotts Barton, on Worthy Road, welcomed pupils from Harestock Primary School for the session.

The care home also held its annual Easter egg hunt with 11 children from the local community taking part.

“The children were delighted with their prizes including Mia who won a book, Ryan who won an easter egg and Summer who won a chocolate bunny.”

Loraine Martin, a resident of Abbotts Barton, said: “Welcoming our young visitors was such a nice way to celebrate Easter.”
