FIRE crews were in Swanmore to tackle a chimney fire.
The fire broke out at a house on New Road at approximately 4.45pm on Wednesday April 5, with on-call firefighters on the scene soon after.
The fire was extinguished with the aid of an aerial ladder platform vehicle from St Mary's station, with firefighters leaving the scene at 6.30pm.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire Service said: “On-call firefighters from Bishop’s Waltham were called to a chimney fire yesterday afternoon on New Road in Swanmore.
“Due to the condition of the roof, the crew requested the aerial ladder platform vehicle to assist in accessing and extinguishing the fire.
“Firefighters left the scene at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.”
