CREWS from seven fire stations attended a house fire in Pound Lane, Upper Wield this morning (April 3).
Firefighters from Alresford, Alton, Basingstoke, Cosham, Droxford, Fleet and St Mary’s all responded to the fire, which was reported at approximately 1am.

Two sets of breathing apparatus, five main jets, two hose reel jets, one ladder and one aerial ladder platform were used at the incident, which is thought to have started in one of the bedrooms. While the roof of the building did collapse, Hampshire Fire Service reported that nobody was injured in the incident.
A relief crew remained on the scene this morning to dampen down.
Hampshire Fire Service has been contacted for comment.
