A Hampshire hotel has been ranked as the second-best wellness retreat destination to visit in the UK for 2023, according to new research.
Chewton Glenn in New Milton was ranked, second in the UK, just behind Gleneagles in Perthshire.
To create the list Vaping.com extracted Tripadvisor ratings and reviews for wellness retreats across Great Britain.
Speaking about Chewton Glen they wrote: "Set in 130 acres of the Hampshire countryside, this luxury hotel and retreat takes second place.
"With 2,198 5* reviews out of a total 2,983, Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa is the ideal place to visit this spring to relax and unwind with a rating of 4.5."
Additionally, the Four Seasons Hotel in Hook also made it on the list, coming in sixth place.

What does Chewton Glen have to offer?
On Chewton Glen's own website, it says: "We are a quintessentially luxury, 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel and spa on the edge of the enchanting New Forest. There are many magnificent hotels, but only a few of them can call themselves a true English Original..."
The 18th-Century country house hotel is described as an "idyllic escape" and the "perfect combination of country and coast".
Additionally, it offers many "award-winning" spa and wellness experiences which aim to "melt away" the stresses of those who use them.
Alongside that its dining options are also well-regarded, and its menus use many ingredients that come from the hotel's very own kitchen garden.
