FAMILIES are invited to enjoy some seasonal arts and crafts this Easter at the Watercress Line.
The popular heritage railway will be hosting special activities at both the Alresford and Ropley stations on various dates from Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, April 16.
Visitors will be able to make their very own bouncing bunny, add colourful designs to an Easter card, decorate a garden stone, create a spring bouquet from paper and learn how to make a colourful chick. There will also be an opportunity to build a bug house from sustainable materials.
In addition to steam train rides along the Watercress line, nature walks are planned in Four Acres field, near Ropley station, with the chance to spot butterflies, rabbits, robins, red kites and wildflowers.
All of the activities are included in the train ticket price.

Chairman of Mid Hants Railway Limited, Alison Houghton said: “What better way to celebrate the arrival of Spring and get back to nature than spending a day with us at the Watercress Line.
“This year we have wonderful Easter arts and crafts activities for all the family, together with the chance to explore the surrounding countryside on foot and on board one of our wonderful steam locomotives. Sit back and enjoy the glorious scenery and hop on and off at our heritage stations along the way.
“Don’t miss out, book your tickets online as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you this Easter.”
